Project Update and Current Report on Progress

Would you like to know how this little project is  moving along? We are moving along pretty well thanks to the generous and caring folks who are contributing to our efforts on behalf of 16 young Haitian women in great need.
Thanks to all of you who have made  donations of both designated funds as well as clothing and other items, it is exciting to see the progress.  I am always so touched and grateful.

We've begun gathering,  buying and packing.  Our present goal is to have one plastic box full of much needed items for each of the 16 young ladies. The most urgent are the tents.  We have gotten enough funds so far to buy ten tents ! So we only need funds for six more. We have purchased air mattresses (one each ) . We were able to do that for only $14 each. Thank goodness for the dollar store - we've made two packets of items for each recipient - one basically hygenic and the other first aid items. We hope to be ready to get our items to the container for shipping in less than a week. We do still need some help.
